Start with a word, phrase, or concept. The easiest way to start is with the chorus. If you can from a chorus, you can eventually elaborate from that. If you have an idea of what you'd like to write about, I'd love to help.

Yeah like Jacob said, the word or phrase you choose, songwriters call that the hook. It should be a catchy saying of some kind. Usually you want to build a story of some kind around that hook. Start with the chorus which is the main idea of the song and most of the time contains the hook. The verses are generally going to tell a story about the chorus or emphasize a main point relating to the chorus. The next part is the bridge which is a verse that sounds and looks different to the other verses. It is designed to keep the listener from getting bored listening to the song. It also has a transitional focus between the verses or concluding focus. Then you can have a pre-chorus which is a transitional verse from the actual verses to the chorus. Try to use the hook as much as possible in your song to make the saying infectious.

Thank you! (: Well idk what I want to write about, I mean I really want to write about a life expreiance that happend recently. Because its a deep emotional part of my past and preasent additude and outlook on life.

Id like to write about a teenage girl who is faced with depression and hard decissions. She faces addiction and is left with scars... but idk where to go forth from there

Spend more time looking at what you do have then what you don't have. You just gave me a statement "Id like to write about a teenage girl who is faced with depression and hard decissions. She faces addiction and is left with scars...". You can brainstorm about it which means just come up with some ideas by taking them as they come and them writing them down. Just let the ideas flow don't think to hard about them. Start throwing words and phrases together (DO NOT be perfectionistic) it is better to have something then not have something. Start from there. And for some hook ideas try "Faced with Depression", "Left with scars" or "Her Addiction", I mean it is really your choice what you want it to be. Be creative!

It's good that you have a beginning and a basis, but you kind of need to have an ending. Does the girl get through it? Does she give into the depression? Does it hurt her or make her stronger? Once you start answering questions like that, the song will begin to form itself. I have quite an arsenal of Depression typed songs myself.
