Hi Paul,

I am a lyricist with 35 years experience.

I like your idea concerning the tune and I like the feel of the piano parts.

The pad sound that you are using is awful and it clashes in places.

I couldn't agree with your request for the melody to follow the piano line, as I feel that the melody should ride over it.

I would be interested in crafting lyrics if you were to address those particular problems with the track.

I am a little confused concerning your request for a lyricist. I have listened to your tracks and there is no apparent melody to any of them. Do you have melodies?

A song is divided into two main parts, Lyric & melody which is split 50% - 50% between the two writers.

If you are requesting that a lyricist also writes the melody, then the song would not be owned by you. You would only own the arrangement on that particular track.

I have found this site to consist of mainly amature songwriters, and if people wish to take it seriously, they need to read up on the basics before stepping in half cocked.
