Important Announcement: SongWritingFever.com will be shutting down all user-interactive pages effective as of Saturday 13 September 2014. We are very sorry about this. We will be working very hard to bring it back as soon as we can in a much better shape than it is now. What this means is that you will not be able to submit or view lyrics, upload or download songs, view other members profiles, sign up or sign in, or post to the forum. Again, we are terribly sorry about this and we hope that we can bring all those functions and more back soon.

our website is - www.songwriterandproducers.com

We are a group of Songwriter's based in the West Midlands, England. We began writing songs back in the swinging 60's. Over the years we've been influenced by the likes of Joe Meek - Geoff Goddard - Mike Berry and The Outlaws - Les Vandyke - Chris Andrews - Rod Argent and Chris White - Clive Scott and Des Dyer - Felix Cavaliere - Tony Hatch and Jackie Trent - Mike Batt - Rupert Holmes - Roger Cook and Roger Greenaway - Les Reed and Barry Mason - Geoff Stephens - Tony Macaulay - Arnold, Martin and Morrow - Tony Hiller - Barry Gibb - Tony Hazzard - Wes Farrell and Tony Romeo.

During the 1970's and 1980's we wrote and produced radio jingles which funded the recording of our songs. You can listen to the Radio & TV jingles on our 'Jingles Page'.

Our publisher back then was 'Belsize Music' the company behind British pop group 'JIGSAW'. Watch their 1975 hit 'SKY HIGH' on 'You Tube'.
Chas Peate' of 'Belsize Music' is still helping us place material.

In June 2009 we had our song 'CANT HOLD ON TO LOVE' recorded and released by 'Englebert Humperdinck'. Check it out HERE on You Tube. This song is featured on his album 'A Taste Of Country'. Available here: www.engelbert.com / Published by Peer Music (UK) Ltd:

On our website - you can listen to our original demo version of 'CANT HOLD ON TO LOVE'.

Although we write mainly middle of the road pop songs our friend and mentor 'Roger Cook', who is our contact in Nashville, has helped us to write many country songs.

We also have songs that would suit Julio Iglesias - John Barrowman - Cliff Richard - David Essex - Daniel O'Donnell and Barry Manilow.

We also think some of our songs would be suitable for films and TV.
(Have a listen to the song 'YOU'RE DRIVIN' ME WILD' - on our website)

If you're a genuine record company or music publisher and would like to aquire a CD, please contact us here. E-mail: midlandssongwriters@hotmail.com / Telephone: +44(0)7866 895826

The music publisher is Peer Music (UK) Ltd, 23 / 24, George Street, Richmond Upon Thames. TW9 1HY. Contact Tel: 020 8939 1700 / Web site: www.peermusic.com

In 2011 our song 'CRYING TIME AGAIN' was released on the double album 'Dreamboats And Petticoats" albums 5 - 6 - and 7. The artist is Scott Bruton, performing as 'Bobby and The Conquests'.

You can buy the album from
