Hi everyone, I'm Lydia from Malaysia...

I like to songwrite base on my own experience and imagination and I have been songwriting for almost a year. My favorite genre is country.

Love playing the guitar, piano, trumpet and viola. Guitar was mostly self-learned.

I'm 15 this year and I'm wondering if it's too young to get into the music industry and I don't know whether I should show my work to my family...but I really hope to be part of the music industry

I enjoy singing too but mostly I prefer songwriting to express myself...and I hope to learn more things here.

That's all from me...thanks

15 isn't young to get into the industry, but I suggest you use your high school years to work on getting better and better at what you do because the industry is really competitive. Also, have fun in your high school years make every moment count because people who make it in the industry give almost all of their time to their job. So you won't be seeing much of your friends and family. Just being honest. If you don't believe me, look up some Rihanna or Taylor Swift interviews. Any people who are at the top. They'll tell you that they give almost all their time to their job. It's hard work. Goodluck though! :D I also suggest you do a lot of shows in big cities or small towns, you know, get discovered...put some videos of you singing popular songs up on Youtube, etc. If you want to get disvocered, you have to be a) amazing at what you do, b) be able to perform in front of a large audience, and c) have some luck. I wish you luck!
