looking for talented lyricist- I compose mostly for choral ensembles
I really am not impressed with AA BB rhyme sequences- if you have a good turn of phrase and understand the rhythm of the spoken words then I am looking to collaborate- I pay standard ascap %

Hi Shay, my name is Nathan. I'm wondering what specific genres you stick to. I have a collection of songs I haven't put music to, mostly hard rock but my best work I believe is my love/heartache style. Think Adele. A good chunk of what I write is specifically written for a female vocalist, it definitely keeps my options wide as to my lyrical limitations. If you're interested in seeing what I've been writing I'd be more than happy to send you some samples. Take care.

I am a very unconventional writer and use some really odd rhyming and catch phrase schemes. I have been writing around 15 years now. So I understand what you are talking about, when you say "if you have a good turn of phrase and understand the rhythm of the spoken words". I can write for any genre, but my forte is dark material . I have a Album I posted on here that I wrote(just lyrics) recently in a rock format. That should give you a general idea of what I am capable of. Also is there a sample available of your work? I would like to know just how talented you are?!? Cheers and hope to hear from you!

Shay - I've been writing lyrics for a number of years - everything from pop songs to musicals. Why don't you send me the music for a song and I'll put lyrics to it. Nothing to lose. BTW, I'm a member of ASCAP. Email me your music at jeff[at]jfraga[dot]com. Thanks!
