My name is Megan, I am only 14, so i'm not a pro
I've been writing for a few years, But only lately decided i'd like to be a lyricist when i grow up, My dream would be to write a song with Taylor Swift, She has inspired me to write and to carry on writing.
I write about experiences and feelings that i'd love to share with everyone, I'd like feedback, tips and would love to write with anyone, So if your interested give me a message
Also i have thought about having some background music but i don't compose or sing, So if your interested give me a message
I am the kind of person to be talking to someone and BAMMM with something someone says ..interests me and i write it down in a writing book i carry everywhere, then later on at home i use that line to help create a story using lyrics
I am new to this website, but i try to use it everyday, i read as much as i can, and give as much feedback as possible, so if your looking for some feedback give me a message

I wish I started writing songs at 14. You've got a lot of life's experiences ahead of you and a lot to write about. Keep writing and do it for you. Fame may come but you can always be a independent artist and that's 100% guaranteed and satisfying. Find an instrument you like and learn it. It helps with writing. You can create music without knowing how to play. I do it:) Welcome to this creative world of music.

I started writing when i was about 11 but its only now at 14 its something i want to do
and yes thank you, i'm trying to learn the guitar to help write my lyrics

Learn to play the piano or guitar it'll help you alot when trying to write lyrics. I could kick myself for never learning and it's a big stumbling block when writing lyrics.

Thank you, however i do find learning to play an instrument one of my weak points:/

Carroll Kiphen has a stumbling block! Get the heck out! Actually, learning an instrument made me feel like I was going backwards in the beginning but it really helps you to start writing in a way where your lyrics are flexible to fit music better. Keep writing everyone. Its how we bleed, its how we breath.
