First, I want to say that this entire site is great for songwriters, and without it I would be lost. Now, I got the words, and I need the music! I'm looking for someone who would like to collaborate with a lyricist. I write, and can write in any genre, but now I'm focusing more on pop/pop rock...not by choice. I've just sort of gravitated that way.

I'm open to almost anything though. I'm also looking for a long distance collaboration, so if doesn't matter to me where you're from. You could work on a moon as long as you have a place to record. I'm serious, and I want to be sucessful, so I'm looking for someone who feels the same. This isn't just a hobby for me, and I think that I'm better than ordinary, and if you feel the same please don't hesitate to reply. I'd like to work with people who think that it's ok to believe you're better than ok. I would also like to collaborate with someone who can sing the songs. I don't want to sound too high maintenance, but when you're serious, you have to be particular.

Yes I know how you feel Nicole. Confidence not arrogance, I too believe in my lyrics. I know if I can get music set to them, they will go far. I am not a dreamer on this issue but a doer, its just getting in contact with the right person. I am going to try and meet with Ralph Stanley this weekend, while he is at the fair. He lives local. I will go that extra mile. I also write all genre, from rap, gospel,bluegrass, country,sorta gothic rock.
I got an email from Aquastar Music Group, asking for a submission of my lyrics. Has anyone heard of them, tried googling them, couldn't find any info.
Anyone with that much determination will make it Nicole, I wish you the best, keep your eyes set on your goals and you will go far.

Can you send me some lyrics to work with? I'd be glad to give 'em a go! I have been looking for some collaboration- I write, sing, play most all instruments, and have a little studio in my house. Stylistically, I am all over the map, but Pop, Power Pop, Rock and Alt-County are the main areas I seem to stick with.

I'll see what I can come up with- I have a bunch of melodies without lyrics that I can try first off. Send me a private message with some lyrics.
